I use the recipe from “The Best Recipe” cookbook. It’s the only cake I’ve been able to make right.
Carmen was here on her birthday early this month and we made it. We got distracted and left off 1/2 cup of flour.
The cake still came out great (we watched it carefully as it baked and may have taken it out early – I can’t remember).
Making a note of it as it’s 1/2 cup less white flour which in our books is a good thing.
