Place eggs in a saucepan one layer and cover with water about an inch. I like my eggs room temperature before I start. I also like to use eggs that are about a week old. They come out of the shells easier.
Now here is the easy part. Just bring water to a boil and then turn off the heat and put the lid on for 20 minutes. They are not over cooked!
Run cold water in the pan and to help cool them off so you can peel them.
