Beef stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • sliced fresh mushrooms (as many as you like)
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • a tiny sprinkle of nutmeg
  • salt
  • pepper

Brown the ground beef with the onions and mushrooms; drain fat. Add the sour cream and seasonings; lower heat and cook until just until the sauce is hot.

Serve over cooked egg noodles.
