3 sticks butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Preheated oven to 375. Beat butter until creamy. Add sugar, egg, vanilla; beat well. Add flour one cup at a time. Dough will be soft; don’t refrigerate.
Fill press. Press cookies one inch apart. Bake 10-12 minutes.
Dough may be floored using food flooring. Cookies may be baked on a stone jelly roll pan.
